dreams

Last night I slept on the couch. I fell asleep to [adult swim] and woke up around 1 to turn off the TV. Around 6am, George Harrison started playing with Ravi Shankar, I don't remember what they were playing specifically, but it was really really great, mostly because I was out in the mediterranean sea with my dad excavating a pirate ship and a nord ship carved entirely out of wood, surrounded in clay. I hung out on the nord ship, on the side, and started eating the clay. It tasted really sweet and doughy. Ravi Shankar kept playing and it was a really nice day. My dad and I talked and smiled, and then one of the ships started rocking back and forth like a swing. It rocked and was set free, and I was on it. My dad followed and eventually it rocked 360' and I jumped off.

Then I woke up and indian music was still playing. It still sounded great but I couldn't tell where the hell it was coming from. Did someone turn on the TV? No, there was nothing on the screen. My computer? was I still dreaming. It was 6.30am. It was the alarm clock radio! Apparently there is a radio station here that plays indian music in the morning.

It was a really great way to wake up. Actually, it was a bad way to wake up because it took a half hour to wake me up, but it enhanced my dreams and now is probably going to stick with me, at least subliminally, for a while.
