tools

Today was kind of long. I got to sit in on a meeting (or I guess I was attending) about some new software we might be using soon to replace some other stuff. It was like 2 hours and the presenter was actually in new york. He pretty much VNC'd from his laptop to a laptop in the conference room that was set up to a projector.

Later I was trained a little bit on another program we use that isnt illustrator or photoshop. Looks really easy. Which is really good.

Then I actually got to use my computer. I installed some anti-spyware and firefox and a tool to help me look at my font library better. Ad-aware found a bunch of malicious software so I deleted that.

After working on an idea for a little bit with the wacom tablet I decided to plug in this big wacom we have just collecting dust. Apparently its a Wacom Cintiq 18sx. And its all mine!

Tomorrow should be fun.

Did the IT staff make you take off the software you installed?
